Job Description Get to know the Team The Singapore Operations team oversees, shapes, and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute to Grab's vision of being Southeast Asia's superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop business strategies that help us achieve our vision in serving our community. As part of the Singapore Operations team, you will help connect Singapore customers to a wide array of merchants, from familiar favorites to emerging stars, through our many delivery partners. Join the Merchant Acquisition team, acquire and grow Grab's merchant network, bringing even more exciting brands, value, and options to eaters in Singapore Get to know the role: You will oversee the entire process of merchant acquisition and onboarding and report to the Merchant Sales Manager. Grab currently has a 5-day office working setup. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform: You will meet, pitch, and lead negotiations with assigned/prospective merchant leads to acquire and onboard them to Grab. You will market and champion Grab's value proposition as the leader of choice for merchants. You will build partnerships with merchants, managing their performance and contribution to the Grab merchant network. You will handle daily merchant queries (commercial and operational) and ensure a smooth onboarding and post-onboarding process. You will be accountable for merchant activity and engagement throughout their onboarding journey. You will stay informed about market knowledge, and competitor activity, to contribute to strategies that meet market changes and merchants' requirements. You will develop an understanding of all products and services that Grab offers. You will work closely with the Account Management Team and other verticals (e.g., Grab Pay, Grab Ads, Grab Rewards) to align and cross-sell, enhancing the value Grab brings to merchants. Qualifications What Skills You Will Need Experience pitching and engaging with merchants, aiming to secure beneficial agreements. Build and maintain partnerships with a variety of merchants, ensuring long-term collaboration and query resolution during onboarding. Ability to understand and adapt strategies based on changing market trends and merchant requirements. Familiarity with Grab's product offerings and understanding how these can add value to merchants. Work with the Account Management Team and other departments to achieve collective goals. Experience sales and business development with a successful track record of meeting sales targets. Analyse sales data and obtain insights that inform your strategies and decisions. Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is beneficial for engaging with Mandarin-speaking merchants.
