We are offering an attractive salary in the range of $120,000 to $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Grab Merchant Centre (GMC) plays a vital role in connecting Singapore customers with merchants through our delivery partners. As the Strategic Merchant Growth Lead, you will be responsible for growing GMC's revenue by leading a team to establish strong business relationships with long-tail merchants and increasing their engagement and spending with GrabFood and GrabMart.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Working with the Director of SMB Merchants on the business development strategy for long-tail merchants
  • Developing a strong business plan to chart the direction for Grab's long-tail merchant strategy for the next 1 to 3 years, including ideating new programs and initiatives to maximize the use of the physical GMC
  • Driving growth in key accounts as measured by Grab Marketing Services, Ads, and GMV
  • Managing deals from start to finish, working closely with One Grab teams such as regional merchant teams, transport, operations, marketing, and product to ensure partnership success
  • Building strong relationships with key partners that fit into our go-to-market strategy
  • Analyzing merchant data to create in-depth analyses for pitches and business reviews
  • Driving operational excellence by collaborating with merchants and operations teams
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business or Management or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or a similar role
  • Team management experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with the F&B industry is an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English, with Mandarin proficiency being an added benefit
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
  • The capacity to integrate business, strategy, finance, and legal concepts to lead complex deals
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
