Job Summary

The Strategic HR Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in providing operational support to Schools/Colleges on faculty appointment, reappointment, promotion, tenure, and exit management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of HR Officers and oversee HR administration and advisory support for faculty matters related to appointment, reappointment, job changes, promotion, and exit management.
  • Ensure data accuracy in updates of all entries in HRIS, including hire data, one-time payments, and concurrent appointment updates.
  • Coordinate activities supporting university-level meetings on faculty appointment, reappointment, and promotion.
  • Resolve tasks and enquiries in a timely manner according to service level agreements.
  • Improve processes and procedures to maintain high standards of service quality, efficiency, and governance.
  • Drive and/or participate in projects and process reviews.
  • Cultivate good working relationships with stakeholders within the university.
