Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits

  1. Oversee and ensure compliance with all legal and statutory regulations, as well as headquarters' requirements in the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function (e.g., MOM regulations, employee-related matters, RBA, etc.).
  2. Ensure compensation competitiveness by benchmarking against companies in manufacturing, contract manufacturing, and semiconductor industries.
  3. Plan and supervise the timely execution of the annual merit increment and appraisal process.
  4. Recommend competitive compensation packages for salary adjustments, including for promotions and upgrades.
  5. Manage the bonus planning process and ensure payouts are conducted according to guidelines and approved budgets.
  6. Lead and participate in the annual budgeting exercise.
  7. Stay updated on market trends and changes in government regulations that impact the company's compensation and benefits system.
  8. Develop and maintain HR procedures and documentation related to compensation and benefits.
  9. Serve as a liaison for HRI and HRMC.
  10. Drive and implement continuous improvement practices and HR projects within the organization.

Training & Development

  1. Provide guidance to the HR Administrator regarding Training & Development activities.
  2. Oversee the training and development needs of employees to enhance skills and support career growth, aligning with business objectives.
  3. Source, recommend, and conduct training needs analysis using the competency model.
  4. Act as an internal consultant to develop and facilitate the implementation of learning and development solutions.

Requirements:

  • A degree in HR Management is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
  • In-depth knowledge of Singapore employment laws, HR best practices, C&B analysis, and training-related functions.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, open-minded, and with a positive attitude.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
  • Experience with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) requirements is a plus.
