Financial Institutions Relationship Manager

As a Financial Institutions Relationship Manager at Franklin Templeton, you will be responsible for cultivating and deepening relationships with existing distributors and identifying potential distribution partners to increase FT market share. You will prioritize efforts on most promising opportunities for medium and long-term business growth, deliver AUM and sales targets within specified channels and clients, focusing on consumer banks. You will also monitor client structure, investment objectives, benchmarks, progress, and holdings on an ongoing basis, providing market intelligence to guide regional strategy, product enhancement efforts, and new product initiatives. Additionally, you will work in close partnership with FT teams to deliver high-quality service experiences to clients, coordinate with teams to resolve client inquiries, execute sales ideas, build and deliver sales presentations, run sales campaigns, and handle RFPs/Annual DD/Query Handling.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a finance-related discipline, 8-15 years of equivalent sales experience in the asset management and/or financial industry, a proven track record in business development and sales in funds management/financial industry, strong knowledge of financial services industry, funds management strategies, and key competitors/retail market players. You will also need established relationships with key retail distribution and research partners, team player skills, relationship management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high levels of personal and professional integrity, deep knowledge of retail channels and clients in Singapore/SEA, and understanding of processes and platforms in the retail business model. You will also need to deliver strong sales presentations, have excellent in-person presentation skills, and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
