Institutional Client Relationship Manager

We are seeking an experienced Institutional Client Account Manager to join our Client Services team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality client service to institutional clients within the Southeast Asia region, with a focus on driving client excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with clients regularly to handle all servicing aspects, including responding to client queries and implementing custodian changes.
- Understand client requirements and needs, working with Sales to meet client demands and provide education, training, and other value-added activities.
- Lead annual/quarterly client portfolio reviews and act as the presenter in meetings when needed.
- Provide daily support to fulfill client account inquiries, including audits, correspondence, statement, trade processing, web support, and more.
- Design and implement enhancements to existing client service workflows.
- Play an integral role in new client onboardings.
- Provide high-quality administration support within the Client Services Team.
- Act as the clients' advocate in interactions with other internal business units.
- Liaise with portfolio managers to prepare for portfolio reviews and any changes in investment guidelines, breaches, etc.
- Work with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve client issues in a timely manner.
- Work with other teams, including New Business Services, on client onboardings.
- Maintain excellent business knowledge, customer needs, internal policies & procedures, as well as systems capabilities and constraints.
- Assist in creating best practices and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Work with appropriate internal business partners (e.g., Risk, Legal, Compliance) as required to ensure business standards are adhered to.
- Minimum 10 years of client service or related experience in a client contact capacity in the Financial Services Industry, with institutional clientele, products, servicing needs, and information standards.
- Experience with client services in asset management is required.
- Experience working in a global business environment with diverse cultures and time zones.
- Strong client service and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and coordinate work with others.
- Ability to interact and work with colleagues in a multi-site and cross-functional environment.
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
- Ability to travel within the region when needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with additional language skills a plus.
