About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Events Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and work with a talented group of professionals.

Job Description:

The Sales and Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities, coordinating events, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Contacting potential clients to promote Marriott's services and products;
  • Celebrating guest loyalty by offering complimentary amenities and rewards;
  • Processing reservation requests, changes, and cancellations efficiently;
  • Providing administrative support to the sales team, including filing, emailing, and data entry;
  • Training and motivating employees to meet quality expectations;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports;
  • Performing other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • At least 2 years of related work experience;
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry software and technology;
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
