Sales Manager, APAC

Key Responsibilties
- Drive the implementation of the divisional sales strategy.
- Further expand the strong market position of Groz-Beckert, including machine builders, textile producers and resellers, with an increased focus on the direct sales approach.
- Direct the sales teams and oversee all sales activities across the Asia Pacific region. Define clear goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures for the teams in cooperation with the division.
- Navigate sales via conventional as well as via digital sales channels, with an increasing focus on the digital channel.
- Ensure a high sales skill, product knowledge and motivation level amongst the regional teams by conducting regular training, support and team building measures.
- Enhance the customer experience of the Groz-Beckert brand.
- Monitor, analyze and draw conclusions on the effectiveness of sales methods, processes and results.
- Provide regular feedback to management and be a vigilant market observer on customer needs, market trends & development, problems, enquiries, competitor activities, potential for new products and services, amongst others.
- Lead and define the strategies for sales including key accounts and new channels/businesses - supporting the company's overall business goals.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Ensure a sufficient product availability, effective demand planning and high overall customer service level.
- Supervise a sizable sales team to ensure top-line and bottom-line targets are achieved through effective sales, promotion, pricing and portfolio
Job Requirement
- At least 5-8 years' experience in a regional B2B sales leadership role, preferably for a European SME.
- Manufacturing industry and/or machinery sales background is preferred.
- Previous work experience in a textile related business field is an advantage.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations.
- Expertise in planning and implementing marketing strategies.
- University or College degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
- Used to interact with top management, buyers and technical engineers.
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills. Business fluency in Chinese would be beneficial to Chinese speaking clients.
- Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal and coaching skills, with a high level of ability to communicate clearly and concisely within a very international environment.
