The Opportunity:
This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial and experienced Sales Manager to join as a key member of the new Singapore office. You will be instrumental in building the company's presence from the ground up, driving foundational sales, and shaping the go-to-market strategy for the region. You will have the autonomy to build your business while being backed by a company with a 30-year legacy of success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow the company's footprint in Singapore's enterprise networking and data center markets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across corporate, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships with OEMs (e.g., Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet), distributors, and channel partners.
- Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, proposals, and quotations that address client needs.
- Collaborate with technical pre-sales and project delivery teams to ensure solution designs align with customer requirements.
- Own the entire sales cycle—from opportunity identification and qualification to proposal submission, negotiation, and closure.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and manage pipelines using CRM tools (e.g., Zoho CRM).
- Serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies.
- Represent the company with professionalism at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, IT, Business, or a related field.
- 10+ years of sales experience in the Systems Integration or IT Infrastructure industry.
- A proven track record of exceeding sales targets in Computer Networking, Wi-Fi, or Data Center solutions.
- A strong, active network of contacts within enterprise customers, OEMs, and distributors in Singapore.
- Excellent communication, executive presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Deep familiarity with solution-based selling and managing complex, long sales cycles.
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and deliver results in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience selling solutions from OEMs such as Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Ruckus, or Juniper.
- Knowledge of structured cabling, physical security systems, or cloud connectivity is a significant advantage.
