**The Role**

We are seeking a versatile and experienced Resourcing & Talent Manager to join the Peerpoint business team in Asia, based in Singapore.

This role is part of an integrated Talent Team, responsible for end-to-end talent management. The team engages consultant talent from recruitment through to successful placements and offboarding, in a well-connected and efficient manner. By converting the insights gained through the recruitment process into a basis for a strong partnership with the consultant, the Talent Team is key to delivering on Peerpoint’s proposition to the talent market.

The position will suit individuals from a variety of backgrounds, including former practising lawyers, human resources, recruitment and business development professionals focused on the legal sector.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

Peerpoint as a leading platform for self-directed lawyers

Peerpoint has been instrumental in the development of a market for top tier self-directed lawyers. Substantial potential exists to attract even more leading lawyers who want greater ownership of their careers. Market engagement for talent is critical for further growth of Peerpoint’s business. This role is responsible for growing Peerpoint’s talent brand, through engagement with relevant professional networks and the talent market particularly in Singapore. We expect the individual in this role to generate and execute on new ideas to build on our established talent brand.

**Resourcing**

**Consultant CVs and role readiness**

As a consultant joins the Peerpoint panel, the Talent Team will work with the consultant to ensure s/he is set up for a successful consultant career. The Team will work with each consultant to understand and be able to communicate their skillset, experience and aspirations. This includes holding skills based CV workshops with each consultant, individually or in groups, to ensure that all consultants have high quality, client-ready CVs to put their best profile forward to achieve their consulting career aspirations, as well as working with consultants to update their CVs to reflect recently acquired skills.

The Talent Team may also be called upon to support the Client Team in preparing consultants for interviews and roles.

**Career coaching, feedback and issues mediation**

Elements of coaching are undertaken across the Peerpoint functional teams, with the Talent Team focusing on career coaching, preparedness to consult, delivering difficult feedback and mediation of issues. Where delivery of these involves others in the team, the Talent Team is responsible for involving experts as appropriate and driving progress toward timely handling. Where necessary, the Talent Team will also support the Client team to remediate complex issues which arise whilst consultants are on assignment.

**Skills development and know-how**

Ensure consultants have access to A&O’s legal technical training.

Identify soft skills training and topical business seminars which would enhance Peerpoint consultants’ ability to be successful. These may be held locally, regionally and globally, so that consultants benefit from relationships in market as well as insights from peers in other markets.

**Peerpoint consultant community & marketing**

Engender a sense of community amongst Peerpoint consultants and A&O, which includes regular consultant social events.

Work with our Global Marketing team to ensure our consultants have opportunities to share their career journeys and successes, and are represented in marketing materials.

**General**

Drive or contribute to wider business projects related to Peerpoint’s talent proposition as and when appropriate.

Host recruitment and consultant events. Represent Peerpoint within A&O and its alumni network, and at client events.

Contribute ideas to the Peerpoint team’s wider objectives.
