**Objectives**

For Consumer Electronics (CE) and Power Tool Segments:

- Provide strong marketing leadership for your respective segment within Asia Pacific
- Steer and navigate segment profitability while providing the longer-term strategic roadmap for country commercial / technical colleagues to follow
- Ensure that consumer team and your respective segments deliver on our annual financial targets through segment actions while balancing these actions with longer-term strategic direction.

**Responsibilities**

Strategy and Market Development
- Develop the segment strategy and 5-year roadmap for Consumer Electronics to profitably grow this segment
- Perform regional market assessment, customer attractiveness, trend analysis and monitor competitive / market intelligence for Power Tool and CE
- Align value proposition, pricing strategy and related marketing content to accelerate growth for the respective segments
- Meet with customers and key market stakeholders obtaining voice of customer (VOC) insights, and feedback to ensure the strategic roadmap stays current
- Create a clear commercial plan to grow Power Tool and CE segments to achieve annual growth & margin targets
- For your respective market segments, develop annual Operational plan for the upcoming year in coordination with the regional sales team input
- Provide guidance through regular communication with the regional sales team to ensure they understand the target customers, key messages, value proposition and specific products we need to promote

Customer & Product Portfolio
- Manage customer / product portfolio for respective market segments
- Perform customer segmentation, map out product / brand positioning and develop proper marketing mix
- Provide pricing guidance and identify margin management activities for segments; initiate improvement actions when and where required
- Create go-to-market strategy, develop product launch plans and monitor post launch performance
- Monitor the market, meet with customers and understand our customer’s sustainability requirements related to Power Tool and Consumer Electronics segments
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to understand our customer strategies and how we can help them achieve their targets

Innovation & Project Pipeline
- Provide market insights and help steer innovation pipeline ensuring that the correct market / customer driven solutions are developed
- Initiate innovation projects to secure growth, create business case & provide prioritization
- Manage and ensure execution of business pipeline for Power Tool & CE segments
- Help build a robust innovation pipeline to accelerate growth by providing customer and market insights to the Research & Development (R&D) team.

Others
- Present key monthly updates for Power Tool & CE in the monthly consumer meetings
- Work closely with the marketing communication team to utilize digital tools to grow exposure and promote product / messaging for your segments
- Work closely with other regions and teams when the key customers’ HQ is located outside of Asia Pacific

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Polymer science/Chemistry / Engineering / Business administration
- Minimum 12 years’ experience preferably in the Engineering Plastics and/or Polymer Industries.
- Prior experience in the consumer electronics industry preferred
- Good knowledge on Consumer Industry value chain
- Experience in Plastics Compounding, Automotive Application development would be an added advantage.
- Experience working across R&D, Technical Development, Technical Services, and Sales functions and across North America and Asia Pacific geographic regions
- Good analytical skills and high proficiency in MS Office Applications such as Excel (Pivot table, VLOOKUP functions), and PowerPoint presentations is a must.
- Knowledge of SAP and Business Warehouse (BW) systems would be highly advantageous.
- Interpersonal skills: Desirable to have highly collaborative, customer focus and value positioning mindset approach. To be able to work in a diverse work environment
