Arup is looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team and provide essential support to Project Managers and team members. In this role, you will oversee document management for multiple projects, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, organized, and delivered on time. You will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic project environment, assisting with document control processes and contributing to project efficiency.
The Opportunity
Support the Project Manager and team by ensuring the quality and accuracy of reports, drawings, technical memos, and other documentation before issuing to the client.
Manage and maintain project documentation, including RFI procedures, registers, and correspondence, ensuring timely delivery and proper filing.
Set up and maintain document control processes, including project email systems and filing protocols.
Assist in the production and maintenance of the Project Document Management Plan and support the management of electronic and hard copy filing systems.
Work on regional document control initiatives and continuously seek efficiencies within the project team to improve workflows.
Is this role right for you?
Minimum 5 years’ experience in document control within a consulting or engineering environment, with a strong understanding of project-based documentation processes.
Proficiency with online document management systems and excellent organizational skills, committed to meeting deadlines.
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to resolve document control challenges efficiently.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to processes and guidelines.
A desire to grow, learn new tools, and continuously improve, with an openness to feedback and a focus on self-development.
