You might just be the next celebrated member of our team Visit for more opportunities and to apply directly HIRING FOR: Business Development Manager Job Description: The primary role of this position is the day-to-day management of a set of key accounts, working closely with the General Manager and the business development team to execute sales strategies focused on increasing sales related to existing accounts, and to acquire new accounts as well as listings across a broad customer base. The secondary role of this position is to conduct in-house training for the Company’s key clients, developing and executing a schedule of consumer and trade events to promote wines in our retail outlets, as well as F&B clients, in particular for the other concepts under The Providore Group. Deliver exceptional customer service, exceed customers’ expectations, and position the company with a definitive competitive advantage in the Singapore market. Acquire new customers through actively chasing leads; meet the decision-makers, and close deals for listings that generate long-term sales Work closely with the team to develop growth strategies focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction, execute the sales strategies, and achieve the company goals Provide strong after-sales support and maintain excellent business relationships with the customers to retain their accounts, grow their listings, and create new business opportunities Prepare sales quotations and invoices, when necessary, in line with agreed company margins, and cost budgets to ensure the business's profitability Manage your accounts aging AR to ensure customer payments are received in a timely manner and communicate regularly with the finance team regarding customers who are outside of their trade terms Keep informed of industry trends, participate in the trade portfolio selection and range reviews, continue to develop your own wine knowledge, and be an expert in the trade portfolio we offer Develop and execute a training programme for our clients to train and develop their teams to be knowledgeable on our portfolio listing at their venues and to increase the sales of TWDC’s wines Create a schedule of consumer and trade events, masterclasses, educational workshops, and activities to promote the wines in our portfolio with our Retail and F&B clients and generate more sales Provide support for marketing activities that increase the awareness of TWDC or the brands that are in our portfolio Operate within the company guidelines and follow the processes set up relating to the day-to-day operations of the business, be a team player, supporting the whole team to achieve the overall Company sales targets and revenue goals The relentless pursuit of keeping TWDC ahead of our competitors and making it the number one wine distribution company in Singapore Job Requirements: Minimum 5 years of related experience and extensive knowledge in wine is required Strong track record of customer base being built up will be advantageous Great communication skills with positive, interpersonal skills A team player with a good sense of job responsibility and a keen eye for details Honest willingness to learn and grow with the Company We look forward to receiving your application, and the opportunity to meet you #J-18808-Ljbffr
