Corporate Development Specialist Role

This is a strategic role that focuses on developing and executing organisational goals, plans and initiatives. The key objective of this role is to provide leadership in the development and execution of departmental workplans that align with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute departmental workplans that are aligned with organisational goals.
  • Facilitate planning and execution of annual management retreats and team building events.
  • Implement organisational initiatives and events designed to promote learning and development.

Corporate Governance:

  • Develop and maintain policies that ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.
  • Prepare and manage governance documentation (e.g. governance evaluation checklist).
  • Support the annual enterprise risk management exercise to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Performance Management:

  • Manage the organisation's performance dashboard and track progress against strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure regular reporting on progress and facilitate necessary adjustments.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive secretariat support for senior management meetings.
  • Assist in preparing materials and reports for quarterly board meetings.
  • Organise engagement activities and manage follow-up actions.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in business or a related field.
  • At least one to two years of experience.
  • Exposure to charity or healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
