Role Overview
The Strategic Sales Area Manager for Rock Tools Division oversees both strategic and tactical aspects of the area program, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term organizational goals. This role requires a forward-thinking approach to program management with accountability for planning, resource allocation, and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement area strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Create comprehensive roadmaps and strategic plans, including gap analysis and action plans.
- Collaborate with territories to identify new opportunities within the specific area to support the company's direction.
- Drive area-specific insights and activities by leveraging internal and external networks.
Program Management
- Plan and oversee delivery of the overall area program and its activities.
- Define program governance and manage the program throughout its lifecycle.
- Lead change management processes within the program and across interfaces.
- Ensure communication plans effectively support program objectives.
Resource Management
- Secure necessary resources in collaboration with resource owners.
- Maintain financial responsibility for allocated internal and external resources.
- Develop funding proposals to ensure continuous program delivery.
- Maximize return on investment (ROI) and value delivery.
Team Development
- Provide mentorship and coaching to team members across territories.
- Support stakeholders through effective guidance and collaboration.
