Senior Partner Manager, Channels

We are seeking a seasoned professional in Channel & Alliances sales to cultivate and enhance partnerships by identifying and onboarding new collaborators for sustainable success. This role involves managing ongoing relationships with essential strategic partners, including managed services providers, professional services partners, resellers, and cloud provider alliances. Our primary objective is to develop alliances that foster customer adoption and generate new revenue streams. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to be part of a cloud software organization and contribute significantly to our growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and onboard new strategic Cloud Service Provider (CSP), Managed Service Provider (MSP), and System Integrator (SI) partners to drive revenue expansion Empower and activate existing partners through comprehensive training, enablement, and collaborative selling efforts Oversee the technical and marketing components of integrated partnership launches Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners to ensure accountability and assess success metrics Collaborate closely with Datadog's regional enterprise and commercial sales teams Generate a sales pipeline and revenue sourced from partner relationships

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Demonstrated success in driving sales opportunities from lead generation to closure, with a proven ability to negotiate agreements and establish enduring partnerships Capacity to swiftly grasp technical concepts and architectural scenarios, articulating them effectively to others both verbally and in writing Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in systems management or monitoring solutions Background in partnerships supporting DevOps, particularly within a cloud environment Technical education or background Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for transforming ideas into impactful initiatives Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, dynamic growth culture and environment Proven track record in identifying market opportunities and executing go-to-market strategies with successful sales follow-through
