JobResponsibilities

  • Procure the most effective option based on rates,transit, time, customers requirements etc.
  • Develop unique solutions to achieve maximum efficiency(eg. Transshipments. Etc.)
  • Act as ControlTower for the region
  • Oversee and mentor thecustomer service team, providing guidance and support to ensurehigh performance.
  • Foster a positive workenvironment that encourages collaboration and professionalgrowth
  • Customer RelationshipManagement
  • Collaborate with sales andlogistics teams to ensure seamless shipment process and timelydelivery of services.
  • Monitor shipments andcoordinate with carriers to resolve any issues that mayarise.
  • Identify opportunities for processimprovemens and implement best practices to enhance customerservice and operational efficiencies.
  • Providetraining and ongoing support to team members on airfreightprocedures, customer service excellence and industryregulations
  • Prepare regular reports on teamperformance, customer satisfaction, and operational metrics forsenior management
  • Utilize data to drivedecision-making and improve service delivery

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in freightforwarding. Master the skills and excellent experience in freightoperation.
  • Strong knowledge of freightregulations, tariffs and shipping procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, withthe ability to build rapport with clients and teammembers
  • Proficient in freight forwardingsoftware (specifically Cargowise) and Microsoft OfficeSuite
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamicenvironment.
