Salling Search is recruiting for an experienced Customer Service Operations (Airfreight) for a reputable and established shipping company in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for customer inquiries and shipments, ensuring prompt issue resolution and satisfaction.
- Manage airfreight and oceanfreight logistics, including booking, tracking, and documentation.
- Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and stakeholders for timely deliveries.
- Proactively address shipping issues, updating customers on delays or changes.
- Apply critical thinking to resolve customer needs effectively.
- Handle end-to-end shipping documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.
- Collaborate with teams to enhance the customer experience.
- Support operational improvements for better service delivery.
- Track customer feedback and service metrics to drive process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Degree in Logistics or a related field (preferred).
- At least 3 years of experience in freight forwarding operations.
- Strong expertise in freight forwarding, including ocean and air documentation, regulations, and industry practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in freight forwarding software (especially Cargowise) and Microsoft Office Suite.
