Roles & Responsibilities

The HR Manager is responsible for various aspects of the HR operating model to deliver HR services as set out in the organisation and local compliance framework and in accordance with our Company's HR policies.

Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)


• A Single point of contact for all system related (HORIZON) issues and queries for BG Asia / All Singapore Entities ( FC AMEA/ FC DC)

• To plan, direct and coordinate all HORIZON related activities in alignment with Global horizon team.


• To manage technical & functional issues across the Global, Regional and Local processes.


• To support change management and guidance to all Singapore entities for roll out of any HR System(s).


• Perform joint PMO responsibility for any HR technical and functional solutions, together with the HORIZON Team


• Ensure high level of data accuracy in HORIZON (position management).

HR Reporting & Budgeting


• Lead the Annual HR budgeting process for BG Asia in conjunction with Finance


• Lead the workforce planning (FTE budgeting) process for BG Asia/ All Singapore Entities (FC AMEA/ FC DC)

• Support the development of HR dashboards, processes and tools to ease management and updates of relevant dashboards and KPI tracking for BG Asia


• Drive the completion of all HR reporting requirements, whenever necessary.

Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Administration


• Manage monthly payroll processes for all Singapore entities. Preparer and Checker for payroll


• Manage the Annual Performance Review and Annual Salary Review exercise, provide guidance and work on submission including appropriate justifications for recommendations, ensure activities are completed within the timeline.


• Participate in salary survey within labor market to determine market competitiveness


• Constant reviewing and benchmarking of Benefits programs for Singapore

Compliance and Reporting


• Overall responsibility for meeting compliance standards: payroll, taxation reporting; audit requirements; government regulations etc


• Advise HRBP and business leaders on solutions to eliminate or minimize compliance risk


• Ensure that HR policies are in compliance to the Singapore labor legislations and regulations


• Review HR policies to ensure relevance and competitiveness

Expatriate Management


• Overseas the efficient management of expatriate policies and process


• Feedback and co-creates with CoE on necessary policy developments

Operations and Delivery


• Adopt a service-oriented mindset and people-centricity in dealing with workforce and business stakeholders


• Communicate with employees on areas such as benefits and claims eligibility and administration, payroll deductions, retirement, re-employment and termination guidelines.


• Keep abreast of local and global HR trends and developments to provide further benchmarking insights on data analysis outcomes.
