Role:

This is a full-time, onsite, Finance Admin Officer Role in MOE Secondary School. If you are selected,

You will work closely with Admin Manager (AM) and School Leaders (SLs) in an MOE Secondary School (nearest MRT- Ubi & Eunos ) in the day-to-day activities.

Responsibilities:

The Personnel shall be competent to perform the following:

Administrative duties

· Finance – Accounts Payable: data entry and preparation of payment vouchers and documents related to accounts payable

· Student Administration – assist in administration of application for bursaries / financial assistance for students from low-income families; liaison with parents for document check and issuance of approval letters to successful applicants.

· Record keeping – eg utilities and telecoms monthly usage, photocopy monthly usage, donations record and acknowledgement to donors via issuance of Thank you cards, etc

· Customer service - eg covering front counter duties when receptionist is busy/not available, mainly to serve walk-in customers such as parents, students, staff, contractors, etc. and answering and directing telephone calls to relevant staff, issue of keys and remote controllers to staff and contractors, etc. and covering duties for Librarian during her absence.

· Assist in emergency and safety teams deployed by the school.

· Any other duties as and when assigned by the school.

Job Requirements:

The Personnel should preferably have the following qualifications and skills:

· Minimum 3 subject passes including English at GCE ‘O’ or Grade 3 for ‘N’ Level (NA) or its equivalent, in the English medium.

· Good communication skills in English, and preferably be conversant in Mandarin)

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel.

· Relevant experience in school finance and administration would be an advantage.

Summary:

Contract Period: From 1 Nov 2024 to 31 Dec 2025

Working Hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:15 am to 4:45pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break

• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
