The role
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Presales Manager specialising in network solutions.

As a Presales Manager, you will lead and manage a team of presales professionals while actively engaging with clients to understand their networking requirements.

Your primary focus will be on driving the presales process, identifying suitable network solutions, and effectively communicating the value proposition to clients.

This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of networking technologies and exceptional leadership abilities.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead and manage a team of presales professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support in achieving sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team, and vendors to understand customer needs, design appropriate network solutions, and develop compelling proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver highquality presentations, product demonstrations, and technical workshops to clients, showcasing the value and benefits of proposed network solutions.
  • Actively participate in the entire presales lifecycle, including solution design, proposal development, technical documentation, and responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, to foster trust and facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Provide strategic input to senior management regarding market trends, customer insights, and competitive positioning to support business growth and development.

Skills & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology
  • Minimal 10 years as a Presales Manager or in a similar presales role, specifically within the networking domain.
  • Strong technical expertise in networking technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, GPON and wireless.
  • Basic knowledge in cybersecurity, SD-WAN, cloud networking and virtualization.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team towards achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering highquality presales support, including solution design, proposal development, and customer presentations.
  • Strong business acumen and a customercentric mindset, with the ability to understand customer needs, identify business opportunities, and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across crossfunctional teams, including sales, product management, and technical experts, to achieve shared goals.
