Pre-sales Consultant

An influential and customer-facing role, engaged in the pre-sales lifecycle, developing solutions required in response to customer requirements and identifying and developing opportunities that will enhance the end-user experience.
- Responsible for customerfacing activities from business development to successful deal closure and transition
- Build understanding of the stakeholders requirements, defining and improving the solution and evaluating business value; whilst ensuring compliance with the company and the account technical standards.
- Engage in high value complex solutions providing vision, direction and management usually to one or more large and complex solution teams resulting in solutions that are compelling, profitable and deliverable.
- Educated to Degree level or related disciplines
- Proven skills in solution management, managing teams throughout the bid lifecycle in large scale, complex environments across all major portfolio areas
- Good knowledge of IT Portfolio and overall market situation, IT technology, delivery and migration standards
- Experience of aligning solutions to business requirements and priorities
- Proven trackrecord in complex environment or projects
- Specialism in one and is additionally knowledgeable in at least two other of the following tower / practice: Cloud and Virtualization; Managed Infrastructure Solutions; Applications Operations; Network & Communications; Identity, Security & Risk Management; Cross Functional; Open systems environments. Experience appraising and quality assuring the work produced by others.
- At least 5 years of experience in functions within IT or Outsourcing
