The Opportunity

Leadership As a Partner, you will further advance our reputation for independent third-party assurance in APAC by helping us drive the continued growth of ERM CVS’ business through creation of our APAC pipeline, selling and delivering world-class assurance-related services, recruiting, training, and developing our next generation of leaders.Role Profile:
This is a key leadership role in growing ERM CVS’ corporate assurance offerings, with accountability for the successful development of our APAC business, while building a team and leveraging the knowledge of our global network of ERM CVS corporate assurance professionals. We are seeking an established leader who is interested in being part of this thriving global community – outstanding professionals who combine strong interpersonal and business development skills with a technical foundation to foster a network of client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead, develop and implement the strategic business plan, to deliver performance results to expand ERM CVS’s Corporate Assurance business and client base in APAC. Drive innovation within the business to stay ahead of client needs and to differentiate ERM CVS in the assurance marketplace as a clear thought leader. Lead, build and inspire a high performing team of qualified and competent assessors, consultants, project managers and technical directors as the business grows, by modelling ERM CVS compassionate culture. As a senior “seller/doer,” personally win new assurance-related engagements annually in line with the APAC and/or global strategic growth plans. Identify and develop new opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business. Develop and manage strategic assurance-related programs for a variety of clients aligned with our strategic growth plan. Design and direct large programs/projects and multi-person project teams. Manage team to achieve client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Serve as the billable Partner-in-Charge on sold engagements that require your skill set or serve as a billable subject matter expert on other engagements that need your expertise. Serve as EQR on projects outside of your region. With the support of the global operations director, lead the operational aspects of the APAC region. Leverage technical skills to achieve regional profit growth expectations across assurance-related service lines. Protect the value and reputation of the business by conducting all work in accordance with ERM CVS accredited procedures. Develop a strong working relationship and understanding of our parent company’s (ERM) consulting service areas, regional stakeholders and appropriately identify how/when/if it is appropriate for our team to engage in those projects. With ERM CVS Marketing team, lead go to market activities in the region and attend appropriate conferences and symposiums to enhance ERM CVS brand recognition in the region. Lead ERM CVS’ approach to regional external strategic relationships and partnerships. Deliver against agreed individual and regional team performance targets and budgets, working with the Global Corporate Assurance lead, Corporate Assurance MT and ERM CVS MT on the APAC Region’s performance, it’s opportunities and risk to ensure appropriate functional support and understanding across the business.REQUIREMENTS:
BS/MS in an environmental, social topic (financial audit experience a plus) An established leader able to lead and build a new regional operation, creating and implementing the strategic plan for growth, with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful business growth strategies in ESG assurance/audit related services. With overarching responsibility for the sales strategy, you will drive top-line sales for the ERM CVS business to deliver regional budgets and growth ambitions, with direct client engagement responsibilities to leverage existing and build new relationships to identify, lead and win opportunities. 5 - 10+ years of consulting experience working with significant clients on ESG (climate, nature, social, supply chain) programs. Possess a diverse client portfolio which includes clients across multiple industries including from the oil & gas, chemicals, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, energy, power, utilities, mining, hi-tech, and/or food and beverage markets. A expert with a background in assurance and audit and ideally experience with the following assurance standards (ISAE 3000/3410, AA1000AS, ISO 14064-3, ADD Product Standards) Working knowledge of international voluntary and local regulatory ESG/Sustainability reporting and disclosure frameworks, ideally gained in the APAC region. A strong people leader able to attract, develop and retain a high performing team. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and grow sales in new assurance-related services. Will be used to working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop winning relationships to deliver the right strategic outcomes. Recognized technical expertise and established reputation in the local marketplace. Strong commercial acumen to grow a viable business, with an understanding of commercial drivers, sales and financial management. Ability to travel as needed. English and local language skillsPACKAGE:
