The Right Profile


Syfe is looking out for a HR Director that will support Syfe employees and managers across various countries. You will be the internal culture ambassador and be able to articulate what an impactful career looks like in a high-growth start up. You will be key to building up a unique Syfe culture in a fun, dynamic, diverse & performance-driven start-up.

Working closely with senior management,  you will be responsible for shaping the HR function at Syfe, which includes areas such as recruitment, benefits, performance appraisals, compensation planning, HR policies and drive the delivery of HR strategies & initiatives. Ideally, you will be a person always looking out for process improvement and unafraid to come up with new ideas and push the boundaries If you are excited about an HR career that allows you to be a changemaker across a rapidly growing company, this role is the right fit for you

Responsibilities

  • Full spectrum of regional HR operations from recruitment, onboarding, benefits, training and development, and culture creation
  • Design, build and execute on a number of high visibility people programs around employee engagement, benefits, HR systems etc.
  • Lead culture building through thoughtful programmes and facilitating company-wide events and facilitation
  • Support best-in-class experience for onboarding, orientation, employee engagement and off boarding
  • Provide sound people-related advice to the relevant department heads and build high trust and impactful relationships at all levels
  • Proactively identify gaps in the existing processes, propose and drive changes necessary to establish good HR practices
  • Ensure that the HR processes are in compliance and updated regularly with government law and regulations
  • Lead HR projects such as employee engagement survey, culture initiatives, policies review, performance review exercise etc.
  • Drive learning and development programs and initiatives to shape the future leaders of Syfe

Qualifications

  • As a guide, 10+ years of HR Generalist / HRBP experience, including working knowledge of regional employment laws and best practices

  • Experience in a fast-growth or start-up environment preferred

  • Demonstrated success partnership alignment to build and improve company culture and increase employee engagement

  • Discretion and sound judgment when dealing with sensitive and confidential information

  • Dynamic with good initiatives and proactive in taking action and process improvements

  • Meticulous and execute initiatives with attention to details

  • Positive with a problem solving mindset. Able to develop a deep understanding of the requirement of day-to-day tasks and be able to suggest improvements on them

  • Comfortable with technology tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, etc.
