Assistant Manager/Manager/Assistant Director, HR Partnership (2-Year Contract)

[What you will be working on]

As part of the HR team, you will work with senior management, divisional directors, and programme coordinators to develop and implement total HR solutions to achieve organisational, operational and people excellence. You will play a strategic and hands-on role as a business partner, in a broad range of HR functions.

Job Responsibilities:

Talent Attraction

  • Plan and manage ISEAS scholarships from application to award, including advertisements, selection, interviews and eventual deployment of returning scholars
  • Serve as primary contact point for scholars engagement and advisory for all scholarship administrative matters
  • Oversee contingent workforce management, including administration of contract-for-services, to augment the Institute's workforce
  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including interns and scholars

Learning & Development

  • Partner divisions to conduct learning needs analysis to identify skills gaps and knowledge deficiencies
  • Design learning strategies, initiatives and programmes to upskill and reskill the workforce to meet the Institute's current and future needs
  • Oversee the administration of LEARN app, including mandatory learning programmes and quizzes, reports and user accounts maintenance
  • Manage training applications and budget, and upkeep learning records via the Workday system

HR Planning & Engagement

  • Lead the identification, establishment, analysis of key HR metrics and collation of critical statistics for reporting and dashboarding
  • Plan and administer awards such as National Day Awards, Long Service Awards and Partnership Awards
  • Oversee annual and ad-hoc declaration activities to ensure organisational compliance
  • Participate in business continuity planning, including enterprise risk management to shape and mitigate the key risks related to manpower

Requirements

We are looking for self-driven individuals who can work autonomously and flexible to lean in and support the team when required. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in navigating ambiguity and exploring fresh ideas and concepts to deliver desired results. This individual should also have a keen appreciation for ISEAS' unique operating context as both an independent research centre and a statutory board.

Remuneration and benefits will depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
