
Assistant Payroll Manager, HR Shared Services

Responsibilities
- Supervise and process end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries.
- Keep up-to-date on employment legislation and ensure compliance to statutory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of payroll tax filings.
- Assist in preparing of payroll-related reports for management, finance, and auditing purposes.
- Support in internal and external payroll audits.
- Recommend and assist in process improvements to enhance payroll operations.
- Guide the payroll team to effectively deliver payroll accurately on a timely basis.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant payroll experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong employee service orientation.
- Knowledge of payroll regulations and best practices.
- Attentiveness to details and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Success Factors will be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
