*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Plan and develop menus in collaboration with management.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with attention to taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff and activities.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and meets safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor food stock and place orders as necessary to ensure consistent supply.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.
  • Manage food costs and minimize waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
  • Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into menu planning.

*Job Requirements:*

  • Proven experience as a Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen.
  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant field preferred.
  • Excellent cooking skills across multiple cuisines (e.g., Western, Asian, fusion).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required. 
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
