About the role
Caracara Concept Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chef de partie/junior sous chef to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based in our restaurant located in the Maxwell area of the Central Region. As a key member of our culinary crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standard
- Assisting the head chef in menu planning and recipe development
- Supervising and training junior kitchen staff
- Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Collaborating with the front-of-house team to deliver seamless service
- Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de partie or junior sous chef in a reputable restaurant
- Formal culinary training or qualifications in the hospitality/F&B industry
- Strong technical cooking skills and a passion for creating innovative and flavourful dishes
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining the highest food safety standards
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
