Job summary:

  • Expected salary: $2,900 - $3,000 per month

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to oversee a designated section of the kitchen and ensure the consistent preparation of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Japanese cuisine or grilling techniques, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence. Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meat and side dishes to perfection
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to recipes, quality standards,

and hygiene regulations

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of workstations at all times
  • Supervise and guide Commis Chefs or junior kitchen staff assigned to your

section

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with Sous Chef/Chef on stock needs
  • Assist in menu planning, daily specials, and quality control
  • Uphold strict food safety and sanitation standards as per HACCP guidelines
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Support in training new kitchen team members as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Chef de Partie or equivalent, preferably in Japanese or

grill-focused kitchens

  • Familiarity with meat cuts and yakiniku cooking methods is a strong advantage
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, hygiene, and food safety

practices

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player with good communication and time management skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
