Sous Chef / Senior Sous Chef – Private Events & Catering Kitchen

Location: Singapore (On-site)

We're looking for chefs who love to cook, create, and lead. Here, no two events are the same — from intimate dinners to high-profile celebrations for VIPs and celebrities. You'll be hands-on in the kitchen, plating exquisite dishes, managing your team, and interacting with clients to ensure every event runs flawlessly.

This role goes beyond cooking. You'll gain experience in manpower planning, logistics, inventory, and operations, giving you the skills to run a kitchen like a pro — all while continuing to refine your culinary craft.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Hands-on cooking and plating during events, ensuring exceptional taste and presentation.
  • Interacting directly with clients to understand their needs and elevate their dining experience.
  • Collaborating with the Head Chef to design creative, dynamic menus.
  • Overseeing seafood and meat preparation, including sauce making, while maintaining top quality and consistency.
  • Conducting research and development for new dishes, sauces, and menu items, including costing and portion planning.
  • Managing manpower, inventory, logistics, and ordering using computer systems.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior chefs, building a strong, skilled team.
  • Upholding hygiene, safety, and organizational standards.
What We're Looking For
  • Sous Chef: At least 5 years' professional kitchen experience.
  • Senior Sous Chef: At least 7–8 years' experience, with proven leadership.
  • Strong foundation in seafood and meats, versatile cooking skills, and sauce-making expertise.
  • Comfortable in a hands-on, client-facing role during events.
  • Experience in logistics, manpower planning, and computer-based kitchen operations.
  • Ability to adapt across cuisines and event styles.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and passionate about quality, creativity, and consistency.
