Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on HR professional to oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, work pass management, employee records, and compliance. The right candidate should be organized, proactive, and knowledgeable in MOM regulations, with experience in the construction industry preferred.
Job Duties:
· Process work pass applications, renewals, and cancellations for foreign workers.
· Manage end-to-end recruitment: screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interview arrangements.
· Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
· Maintain and update employee records, ensuring proper filing and documentation.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR regulations.
· Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.
· Prepare HR reports and metrics for management review.
· Liaise with external partners such as recruitment agencies, insurance brokers, and training providers.
· Support payroll processing by providing accurate employee data (leave, bonuses, attendance, etc.).
· Assist in employee engagement activities and training sessions.
· Collaborate with Finance and Admin departments on HR matters.
· Coordinate ISO, BCA, and other relevant audits to ensure compliance and readiness.
· Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in HR, Business, or related field
• At least 3 years of HR experience, preferably within the construction industry
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good initiative and a fast learner with good organizing skills.
• Strong knowledge of MOM law and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and accounting knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Able to work independently
