Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. They serve as the link between management and employees, ensuring HR strategies support business goals. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, training, policy implementation, and legal compliance.
Job Duties:
· Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy.
· Manage the recruitment and selection process.
· Support current and future business needs through talent development and succession planning.
· Nurture a positive working environment and promote organizational culture.
· Oversee and improve performance appraisal systems.
· Manage compensation and benefits programs.
· Ensure legal compliance throughout HR practices.
· Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.
· Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership.
· Collaborate with accounting/finance teams on HR budget planning, payroll, and audits.
· Liaise with external partners like recruitment agencies, insurance brokers, and training providers.
· Assist in recruitment processes: job postings, screening, scheduling interviews.
· Conduct onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
· Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
· Support payroll processing by providing necessary employee data (leaves, bonuses, attendance, etc.).
· Ensure adherence to labor laws and internal policies.
· Assist in employee engagement activities and training sessions.
· Help resolve employee queries and issues.
· Coordinate with finance and admin departments on HR-related matters.
· Prepare HR-related reports and documentation
· Other ad-hoc duties assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
• Diploma or Degree in HR, Business, or related field
• –6 years of experience in HR
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Good initiative and a fast learner with good organizing skills.
• Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of MOM law and HR best practices.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and accounting knowledge is a strong advantage.
• Able to work independently
