Air Operation Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage airfreight operation team
  • Ensure smoothy operations and good customer services.
  • Execution of MAWBs and HAWBs (Direct and consolidation shipment)
  • Manage airline FWB/FHL submission
  • Follow up and processing of shipment with shipment status and revert to agents/clients
  • Do all necessary documentation for all shipments and plan for collection and delivery of shipments with contractors in order to meet flight closing time.
  • To ensure all COD customers payments are collected prior to release airwaybill/delivery to customer.
  • Attend to all messages pertaining to operation matters.
  • Responsible to oversee airfreight import and export billing to clients and agents
  • Closing of all airfreight import and export job files promptly to meet month end closing
  • Maintain good relations with all customers and agents to ensure good customer services.
  • Ensure profitability for businesses secured with regular review with management.
  • Support customer services and pricing team on air operational issues
  • Any other official duties assign by Management.

Qualifications:

  • Min 2 years' experience overseeing a team to run an airfreight import and export operation of the company
  • Extensive background in freight forwarding industry (agent environment)
  • Strong experience in full import and export documentation functions
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Possess good communication & interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding with co-workers and contractors.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Customer oriented
  • High endurance
  • Well versed with tradenet preferred
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to start work immediate preferred

5.5 days work (alternate weekend upon confirmation)

Working hour: 11am to 8pm (Weekday) and 11am to 3pm (Weekend)
