
Senior Director Commercial Strategy – Food Service Solutions

About the Role:A leading global organization in the food and beverage industry is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Director – Food Service to lead its growth agenda across South West Asia. This senior leadership role is ideal for a dynamic professional with deep expertise in food service channels, customer engagement, and cross-functional team leadership.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping and executing regional strategies, driving profitable growth, and building strong partnerships with key accounts in Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), Full Service Restaurants (FSRs), and Convenience Stores (C-Stores).
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Growth Delivery
- Define and implement short- and long-term strategies for food service channels across South West Asia
- Drive commercial performance and deliver against growth targets through customer-centric solutions and innovation
Team & Resource Management
- Lead and develop the regional food service sales team, ensuring optimal structure and capability to support business objectives
- Provide oversight and guidance for key accounts across the region
Customer & Market Development
- Identify new growth opportunities and build a robust commercial and R&D pipeline
- Collaborate with product development teams to create market-relevant solutions aligned with customer expectations
Industry Engagement & Relationship Building
- Build strategic relationships with customer organizations, including R&D, Marketing, and Procurement functions
- Represent the business in industry forums and develop a strong network across the food service ecosystem
Performance Management & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Monitor business performance against key metrics and contribute to regional leadership reviews
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Finance, and Operations to ensure excellence in execution
Global Account Interface
- Act as a key liaison with regional and global teams managing multinational customer accounts
- 10–15 years of experience in the food & beverage industry, with a strong track record in food service channel leadership
- Proven commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Deep understanding of QSR, FSR, and C-Store markets, including trends and success drivers
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience in building and managing channel partner networks
