Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and formulate beverage prototype based on projects, industrial standards and country-specific requirements.
  • Handle and lead beverage application projects such coffee, tea, dairy, plant-based, carbonated soft drinks, fruit juices, energy drinks, flavored water and alcoholic beverages.
  • Handle lab process equipment including UHT, aseptic filler, homogenizer, carbonator, hot water bath, autoclave and high shear mixer.
  • Good understanding of product heat treatment for different beverage categories to ensure product safety.
  • Select and evaluate the right flavor solution in compliance with applications requirements.
  • Strong sensory skills to evaluate and select appropriate flavors.
  • Understand the commercial needs for the category/market and be the technical contact/support for the key category customers/markets.
  • Design, prepare and conduct shelf life testing for beverages.
  • Manage raw materials, laboratory supplies and housekeeping.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and clients.

Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Food Technologist or in a similar role specifically beverage
  3. Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and quality control standard
  4. Advanced Sensory Skills & Chemistry, laboratory procedures and methodology
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience engaging stakeholders at all levels
