Job Description of Part-Time Pastry Assistant:

  • Preparation of ingredients according to recipes.
  • Assist in the decoration of baked goods which includes frosting, icing and

adding of other decorative elements.

  • Support the full-time pastry chefs and bakers in the various tasks such as

mixing and baking.

  • Packaging and labelling of baked goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the workplace area, tools and equipments.
  • Assist in other general kitchen duties and tasks as and when needed such as

washing dishes, taking out the trash and organisation. Skills and Qualities Required:

  • Physical Stamina
  • Being able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Teamwork and Communication
  • Able to work well with others and communicate

effectively.

  • Attention to Detail
  • Accuracy in following recipes and instructions.

  • Able to work efficiently both within a team and

individually.

  • Passion for Baking
