Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Junior Cook/Pastry Chef to join our kitchen team. You will assist in preparing, baking, and presenting pastries and desserts. This role is perfect for someone eager to develop their skills and grow a career in the culinary field.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, baking, and finishing of pastries, cakes, bread, and cooked dishes.
  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry/kitchen.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.
  • Support pastry chefs and chefs in daily kitchen operations.
  • Assist in stock rotation, inventory checks, and ingredient preparation.
  • Contribute creative ideas when appropriate.

  • Basic knowledge of baking and pastry techniques
  • Passion for pastry, desserts, and food presentation.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
