The Microbiology Division (**MBD**) is a trusted supplier of a broad range of high-quality media and diagnostic products used in clinical, industrial, research, and academic laboratories, and backed by a team of service experts, we are dedicated to microbiology. For over 30 years, we have provided superior product performance and expert, responsive customer support to laboratories nationwide. There are 14 manufacturing sites worldwide with more than 300 million plates produced. The revenue is over USD 500 million.

**How Will You Make an Impact**:
You will lead account managers for Microbiology Division of Specialty Diagnostic Group in Thermo Fisher Scientific and responsible to develop business strategies and implement actions according to plans to meet annual operation plan, market share growth target with improved profitability.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Sales Planning:

- Evaluates market/customer purchase practices, preferences and trends, selling activities and distribution methods for reaching target market and customer segments.
- Partners with commercial leaders in crafting a comprehensive sales strategy and processes that deliver revenue growth and improvement in sales efficiency, using customer and portfolio data.

**Commercial Execution**:

- Actively conduct and participate in the preparation, submission and presentation of the MBD Singapore Monthly business reviews (MBR), quarterly business reviews (QBR), the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and the long term business planning process (STRAP). Achieving forecast accuracy of ±5%.
- Drives the involvement of company employees, including sales, support, service, and projecting sales volumes for existing and new products, while ensuring all statutory requirements are met, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
- Prepare country plan for commercial and marketing strategy by developing field sales action plans to exceed sales and gross profit targets for business.
- Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators. and make recommendations and implement action plans to ensure sales stay on plan to maintain sales volume, product mix and selling prices.
- Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) management - engage and establish key customer relationships with clinicians, microbiologist, laboratory managers and medical technologist in clinical sectors, food industrial and pharmaceutical market to establish reference site. Champion strategic relationships and maintain contract with key influencers with regular visits.
- Ensure market entry requirement and products regulatory compliances are always duly followed.
- Monitor competitors' activity and industry trends, develops solutions to meet sales goals with additional opportunities.
- Maintain a high degree of knowledge of company products and policies and ensure training needs are fully met. Coordinate any training requirements with marketing and technical support.
- Recruit, train, review, develop and structure sales teams to meet go-to market strategy. Experience in leading a team with strong direction, mentor, feedback and coaching, support and appraising job results to all team members, along with 100% compliance of corporate ethic's training.
- Collaboration with regional functional teams (marketing, key account management, commercial operation, supply chain, financial shared services, IT, legal, and human resources).
- Lead the company’s products portfolio in a positive manner and maintain/build our reputation in the marketplace, run and implement company defined sales and marketing strategies, with strong urge to perform with results.

**Minimum Requirements/Qualifications**:

- 5 years of relevant, industry-specific experience with product sales, preferably microbiology related.
- Undergraduate degree in Pathology or related fields
- Demonstrated sales leadership in microbiology, laboratory diagnostics, medical devices, or healthcare industry are preferred.
- Excellent strategy, planning and execution skills with proven track record to get results.
- Ability to handle ambiguity is helpful.
- Highly developed commercial and eye for business; an ability to recognize growth and profitability opportunities and capitalize on them.
- Commercially aware, highly motivated and target driven.
- Customer orientated and able to drive activities that improve customer happiness.
