Facilities Officer

Covers the premises of BRMC, BRMCLL (Barker and Vanda locations), and Oasis on the following job functions:
**Facilities Management**
1) Maintenance of the BRMC’s properties.
2) Conduct daily checks, and walkabouts of the premises to ensure the cleanliness & orderliness of the premises.
Raise any areas of repairs to the Property Manager.
3) Assist Property Manager with managing contractors for the repairs & maintenance of the premises.
4) Schedule the repair and maintenance of all office equipment to ensure good working condition:
a. obtain the best possible quotes for equipment repairs
b. send equipment to supplier for repairs when necessary / assigned
c. order and replenish consumables for the following machines (but not limited to):
i. Photo Copy Machines
ii. Laminating Machine
iii. Shredder
iv. Risograph
v. Water dispensers
vi. Others
5) Liaise with Church facilities and general workers on equipment and facilities required for church activities.
6) Ensure the cleanliness of the church venues, office, and pantry by managing the cleaning contractor.
**Facilities and Equipment Bookings**
1) Manages and deconflicts church events and resources, using the Planning Centre Online (PCO) or whichever online platform the church uses to manage premise bookings
2) Issue Equipment and allocate rooms for church activities.
3) Coordinates with the Worship and Music team and IT department for AV and IT resource allocation
4) Coordinate and liaise with MCS, ACS, and Oldham Hall for booking of their facilities for church use.
5) Provides Weekly updates of bookings of premises using the church calendar with PCO for the church
**Inventory**
1) Maintain a register of church equipment, including those of other ministries.
2) Provide access to Finance Dept for tagging of church equipment.
3) Maintain the JIT inventory system for all inventory under Property and Facilities Department.
4) Annual stock takes with the finance department of church equipment under Property’s care.
5) Monitor the movement of church equipment under Property’s care.
**Purchasing and Related Errands**
1) Monitor and replenish church & office cleaning vendors, refreshments & supplies for Sunday services, office pantries, and other activities.
2) Assist in obtaining quotations for the purchase of equipment or supplies.
3) Run errands for the office. Collects Christian materials when assigned.
4) Assist the church staff in the reservation of car park slots for guests by liaising with school security.
**Safe Management**
1) Supports BRMC’s safe management plan by monitoring and ensuring that BRMC’s activities (including weddings & Baptism) adhere to the safe measures.
**General**
Any other duties as may be assigned by PIC, Supervisor and/or Principals of BRMCLL.
**REQUIREMENTS**
1. GCE "A" levels and above. Certification in Facilities / Building Project Management, or other closely-related fields is preferred.
2. Must have been in a similar role and possess related experience of at least 2 years.
3. Able to work independently under mínimal supervision.
4. Able to meet deadlines.
5. Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with various levels of staff and lay congregants.
6. Able to manage conflict professionally and with humility and respect.
7. Competent in Microsoft office word processing, excel and powerpoint
8. **Able to work on weekends shift.**
9. Good administrative and organisational skills.
