DESIGNATION : Facilities Officer (Location: West Coast)
RESPONSIBILITIES
**Position**:Facilities Officer**
**Reporting To**:Senior Principal / Principal**
**Direct Report**:Vice-Principal (Non-Academic & Administration)**
**Job Role & Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overall maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the building(s) and grounds
- Perform troubleshooting of routine maintenance and repairs problems, fixing up installations, rectification of maintenance works, plumbing work
- To look after the upkeep and general care of the school buildings, compound and surroundings
- Perform daily inspections around school to identify and resolve any issues that may cause inconvenience to the school’s community
- General maintenance and minor repair work including (but not limited to): doors, windows, toilet seats and flushes, furniture, tap washers and some painting of doors and walls
- Re-painting, re-decoration and re-setup of learning spaces including moving of furniture
- Preparation of the school facilities for school events, such as graduation ceremony, festival functions etc, as required
- Receive and check goods and supplies from suppliers and take them to the appropriate place for storage
- Contact person on site for any visit(s)/inspection(s) by external parties
- Basic gardening duties
- Other duties as required by the Facilities Manager and Senior Leadership Team
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience
- Working experience in school setting is desirable
- Independent, resourceful, and able to perform under pressure with minimum supervision
- Able to multitask and work independently
