About the job:
**Job Description**:

- Saxo Markets is in the process of launching new products and services targeted at the Independent Asset Manager (IAM) and Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) space. We are looking for an entrepreneurial and solution oriented sales person to identify new opportunities, engage with key stakeholders in organisations, position Saxo solutions, and ultimately to win deals.
- The sales person is expected to quickly build a strong pipeline of suitable IAM and IFA clients. Working with the right IAMs and IFAs, the goal is to win wallet share of the IAM/IFA end-clients and have them migrate their businesses from other providers to Saxo.
- Once suitable prospects have been identified, it will be necessary to deep dive into the prospected organisations to uncover business opportunities and effectively position the corresponding solutions. Pitching to multiple stakeholders, often times in senior positions will be a prerequisite to virtually all deals. The sales person will coordinate and work closely with in-house solution specialists, product specialists, project managers and implementation teams in order to complete the sale.
- Secondarily, new IAMs and IFAs are setup regularly, so the sales person needs to win these deals against the competitors early on in their lifecycle of the firm.
- Success Criteria:

- Contract with IAMs and IFAs to adopt Saxo’s digital investment solutions and services
- Migration of the IAM/IFA’s client books from competitors (AUM based) to Saxo
- Hit revenue targets set on an annual basis
- Responsibility & Tasks:

- Identify suitable IAMs and IFAs
- Find potential opportunities within these organisations where Saxo’s solutions and services will be relevant to their business growth
- Convincingly present corresponding solutions including pre-sales
- Engage in top-level meetings to obtain key stakeholders’ buy-in
- Win deals through effective prospect engagement and diligent pipeline management
- Seeing through the project implementation until the client goes on-line
- Competence Requirement:

- At least 4-5 years in the financial technology, brokerage or investment space.
- Entrepreneurial mindset in building new businesses.
- Direct experience in handling the IAM and IFA client segments preferred.
- Solution oriented thinking with focus on leveraging technology.
- Good understanding in liquid capital markets products - i.e. equities, futures, options, FX etc.
- An articulate person and has exceptional presentation skills.
- Fluent in English. Command in other languages might be relevant though not necessarily an edge.
