Assistant Director, Talent Management

The Learning & Talent Management team seeks a seasoned professional to lead the formulation and end-to-end implementation of the Management Associate Programme (MAP). As the programme lead, you will be responsible for creating and executing key talent strategies under MAP with the primary objective of attracting, developing, and retaining high-potential talents.
Key Responsibilities:- Formulate and execute talent strategies under MAP to build the University's talent pipeline by attracting, developing, and retaining high-potential talents.
- Develop and administer the programme from talent selection, identification to engagement as well as end-to-end planning and execution of activities/events throughout the programme period.
- Curate assessment tools used during shortlisting and selection phase to ensure quality candidates appointed under this programme. This includes overseeing tenders required for consultancy services and working with vendors to finetune assessment tools to suit University needs.
- Play strategic talent partner role and engage senior leaders and participants under MAP.
- Engage young talents to understand their career goals, assess areas of development, track, and execute career progression and development plans for succession planning.
- Deepen competencies of talents under MAP to prepare them for entrance into existing talent development programmes.
- Engage senior leaders to recommend developmental areas/initiatives tailored to individual needs to help these talents grow in preparation for key leadership appointments.
- Drive recruitment marketing efforts for this programme to create top-of-mind awareness amongst undergraduates through close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Degree or equivalent in Human Resource Management or relevant field with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience in talent management and/or leadership development programmes.
- Strong communication skills and adept at building relationships and stakeholder management.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across all levels.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong analytical thinking.
