COMPANY DESCRIPTION
DESIGNATION : Senior Assistant Director / HR
RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director, the incumbent is expected to spearhead and implement strategic HR initiatives and Organisation Development, aligned with GB’s goals and strategies.
HR Business Partnership
- Provide advice and support to line divisions on HR matters
- Partner line divisions in the implementation of HR solutions
- Manage manpower requirements in support of divisions’ needs
- Develop talent recruitment and retention strategies
Career Development
- Oversee the smooth implementation of career development initiatives including facilitation of officers’ career movements and scholarship nomination exercises
- Review career development policies and initiatives in support of GB’s medium to long term succession plans
- Development of talent pool at various levels to continue building GB’s talent pipeline
Learning and Development
- Devise and review programme to build the leadership skills of GB employees
- Oversee the smooth implementation of in-house leadership development, coaching & mentoring programmes
- Develop and oversee learning policies and learning framework
Employee Engagement and Staff Well-being
- Develop and review employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
- Oversee the smooth implementation of staff welfare initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Human Resources Management or related fields with at least 10 years' relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role managing and coaching teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage people at all levels
- Ability to conceptualise and articulate policies, as well as translating strategies to operational practices
- Good prioritisation skills and excellent drive to rally the team and achieve outcomes
