Singapore Ling Kwang Home For Senior Citizens Full time

We are looking for an experience and self-driven Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to aide Director of Nursing in managing the day-day operations of Ling Kwang Home for Senior Citizens in accordance with the current Ministry of Health, Singapore Nursing Board and Agency for Integrated Care guidelines and regulation. ADON is to provide dynamic leadership to both our staff and the residents as well as work towards achieving both the organizational and professional goals of the home.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provides sound leadership to oversee the healthcare team consisting of Nurse Managers, Staff Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Day Care and Care & Rehab Managers and Rehabilitative Team and others.
- Assist Director of Nursing to facilitate collaborative relationships across all departments.
- Maintains high nursing standards and ensures that the nursing care provided, and qualification or competencies of nursing staff are in compliance with all the stipulated guidelines by the regulatory boards.
- Partners with the Director of Nursing in support of / and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach in the delivery of possible holistic care.
- Actively participate in achieving nursing department objectives and goals to provide quality of care.
- Ensures continuing education for staff for service improvement and professional development as well as skills competency upgrading through training, learning facilitation and other opportunities and pathways.
- Helps formulate, implement, assess effectiveness and revise, where necessary, policies, processes and procedures to ensure that all are kept up to date with changing requirements.

**Job Requirement**:

- Degree in Nursing, preferably with Masters.
- Registered Nurse with valid practicing certificate.
- Working Knowledge in a supervisor capacity in health care settings, acute hospital, community hospital, nursing home or home nursing setting.
