**Roles & Responsibilities**

This key position reports to the Executive Director. You will
- Provide forward looking and innovative leadership and oversight for nursing

care services for our residents;
- Be responsible for the compliance of all nursing standards as stipulated by

Ministry of Health and Singapore Nursing Board and standards set by the ENHS

and HCSA;
- Lead and motivate a large team of nurse managers, registered and enrolled

nurses, nursing aides and healthcare assistants to achieve a high level of

competency and improve the quality of care for our residents. Work with a

multi-disciplinary team comprising a occupational therapist, a physiotherapist,

psychologist/counsellor, medical social workers to ensure that our residents

have the best possible holistic care;
- Be responsible for manpower, workplans, operational budgets and career

development/ training roadmap and orientation/preceptorship for both new

and existing nurses;
- Be responsible for developing new SOPs and reviewing existing SOPs to ensure

that all are kept up to date with changing requirements;
- Be responsible for overseeing the services of the doctors, pharmacists and

dietician.
- Promote evidence-based practices for nursing care delivery;
- Ensure quality audits are planned and conducted periodically;
- Keep updated with current trends/best practices in the sector and changing

needs of residents and make recommendations to meet the changing demands;
- Assist the Executive Director in identifying suitable new programmes for the

residents to improve their rehabilitation journey;
**Qualifications and Prerequisites**
- Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and Degree in Nursing
- Post Basic Qualification in Psychiatric Nursing (preferred);
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the

community care sector;
- A humble and empowering leader with good listening skills and apt at managing

staff issues and work collaboratively with all other departments;
- A highly driven and dedicated leader with strong clinical and organisational skills

and able to give clear directions to the team;
- Good interpersonal and communications skills
- Compassionate, caring and positive.
