They are seeking a dynamic, resourceful and experienced **Assistant Director (Learning & Organisational Development), Human Resource t **o lead their talent and learning agenda by driving strategic, comprehensive and sustainable Training programmes across the University.

**The responsibilities of this role are**:

- Provide consultancy to department heads on learning and organisational development strategies in order to design, deliver and administer organisation development initiatives to support staff engagement and change management
- Provide guidance to the team in developing and implementing organisational competency framework - core, leadership and functional competencies
- Develop and implement customised learning and development policies and solutions to cater to the specific learning and development needs of each department
- Conduct annual learning needs analysis, develop and implement the annual total learning plan
- Manage the annual learning and development budget
- Lead implementation of training analytics to measure and report training effectiveness
- Overseeing the sourcing and development of training programmes and other relevant learning and development solutions to address identified competency gaps
- Develop, review and implement learning and development policies and processes to align with the strategic needs of the organisation
- Develop framework, policies, processes and implement initiatives for talent management, leadership development and succession planning
- Develop and implement methodology to identify critical positions in the organisation
- Develop and implement methodology to identify successors to the critical positions
- Degree qualified, preferably with a post-graduate qualification in human resource management
- Proven track record with at least 12 years’ experience in a similar capacity
- Strong leadership capabilities and able to influence and work well with people at all levels
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to multi-tasks and cope in a fast-paced environment with changing needs
- Able to review strategic training frameworks as well as hands on operational details
- Familiarity with LMS and e-learning environment is essential
