Job Title

This position plays a critical role in the academic arm of the Undergraduate Programmes Office, supporting student professional exposure and exchange to partner universities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage industry exposure programmes, including Professional Attachment (PA), Experiential Semester Programme (ESP), Work Study Degree Programme (WSDeg), and Overseas Entrepreneurship Programme (OEP).
  • Liaise with faculty and departments to support students in credit-bearing internships and professional exposure programmes.
  • Coordinate with divisions on internship supervisor allocation and marks entry submission.
  • Prepare periodic reports for management and government agencies.
Student Exchange Programmes
  • Collaborate with Office of Global Education and Mobility (OGEM) on exchange numbers, nomination, and placement.
  • Liaise with Divisions to evaluate course matching requests.
  • Update master list with outcome of mapping requests.
  • Process credits transfer.
  • Manage inbound student course requests, registration, and appeals.
Business Streaming
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to establish streaming arrangements, including specialisation capacity and system setup.
  • Provide streaming updates and reports to management.
  • Perform allocation, manage appeals, and process changes.
Student Administration
  • Administer short and semester leave of absence.
  • Handle candidature matters.
  • Process re-admission, withdrawal, and termination.
  • Credit Transfer administration.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
  • Prior experience in a relevant administrative role in an institution of higher learning is advantageous.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and flexible in adjusting to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating personal initiative and team spirit.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, multitask, and deliver quality results in a timely manner.
  • Organised and meticulous with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
