Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team.

  • This is a unique opportunity for a highly skilled and motivated individual to play a key role in the success of our business.

About the Role:

  • Manage the estimation process from tender stage through to project completion, ensuring accurate and timely estimates are provided to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review detailed quantity surveys, bills of quantities and schedules of rates for tenders and works.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete estimations are delivered on time.
  • Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Attend daily and monthly meetings to ensure project progress aligns with business objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and health protocols at all times.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and monitor actual expenses against planned figures.
  • Provide technical information on specifications, supply, logistics and procurement arrangements as required.
  • Ensure timely delivery of drawings and designs to support the estimation process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong negotiation, construction, estimating, administration, procurement and cost control skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, or equivalent experience.
