Senior Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team in Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and preparing comprehensive construction estimates from initial calculations to final accounts.
- Prepare detailed tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, in accordance with industry standards.
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors and negotiate as necessary to achieve optimal project outcomes.
- Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects and tender submissions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review and study drawings for construction projects, identifying potential issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare contract documents in accordance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Monitor project progress and ensure objectives are met, making adjustments as needed to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Manage payments and variations effectively, facilitating efficient project execution.
- Communicate effectively with clients, management, and sub-contractors, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
- Perform duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Survey or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field, preferably in a senior estimating role.
- Knowledge of civils and architecture is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience in building projects will be a significant advantage.
