Job Title: Senior Construction Estimator
OverviewThe role of a senior construction estimator is pivotal in ensuring the financial success of our projects. As a seasoned professional, you will be responsible for managing and preparing all cost estimation and contract administration for our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Review tender documents and participate in pre-tendering activities with clients and project managers to ensure accurate estimates.
- Prepare detailed and accurate quantity take-offs against drawings as specified in the tender document.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting and monitoring costs to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Verify progress of work and submission of progress claims to clients.
- Tertiary degree in construction management or quantity surveying.
- Sound knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and standards.
- Proficiency in cost estimation and cost management techniques.
- Familiarity with contract administration and legal aspects of construction projects.
- Experience working with AutoCAD and validating quantities from given drawings.
